CIRCULATION SERVICE
This section plays a pivotal role for providing the books to readers. The major activities in this service is to issue and return the Library books to the users. The users may contact the Librarian regarding the matters relating to Library membership, fine and clearance etc. If particular books are not where to find it on the shelf, the book may be traced out by consulting the catalogue through its author, title or subject. Users can check their issue returns history & fine etc, with their login through OPAC Online Public Access Catalog.
ONLINE PUBLIC ACCESS CATALOGUE (within the Library):
The Library presently has very rich collection in different areas of Mathematics. ASSMS Library OPAC provides bibliographic information of printed books of Mathematics available in the Library of Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences GC University Lahore. ASSMS Library user can search to find the exact book or list of Mathematics books as required. (192.168.1.143 Network ID For OPAC)

INTER-LIBRARY LOAN (ILL)
If a particular item is not available in our collection, the Library has arrangements to acquire it from other Libraries, both within the country and abroad.

REFERENCE SERVICES
An active help desk provides efficient and reliable services under the supervision of professional Librarian. Users may make queries by telephone or e-mails.
CAS: (Current Awareness Services)
Right information to the right person on right time is the central force behind dissemination of current awareness and information. It also plays a pivotal role in fulfilling research needs of M.Phil/Ph.D scholars.
Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Library provides such a service to the users, to meet the level of their satisfaction.
STUDYING
Study areas are available on both ground floor and basement of the Library 100 chairs available in the Library, Where the user can read with concentration.
