Sight seeing for CIMPA Speakers
 
The Speakers of CIMPA School on Combinatorial and Computational Aspects of Commutative Algebra, 21-28 February, 2009, who will be staying for the 4th World Conference on 21st Century Mathematics, 4-8 March, 2009, will be offered the following sight seeing activities during period of 1-3 March, 2009.
  • Visit to the old city (once a cultural hub of old eastern civilizations) in Horse Carriages
  • Visit to Badshahi Mosque (a monument of 400 years old architecture and Lahore fort (built in thirteenth century)
  • Visit to Jehangir’s Tomb, a very picturesque place (also the place of inspiration for Jehangir’s Graph)
  • Visit to Shalimar Gardens, the ancient gardens of Moghul Dynasty

CIMPA (International Centre for Pure and Applied Mathematics) is a non-profit international organization established in Nice (France) in 1978. Its aim is to promote international cooperation in higher education and research in mathematics and related subjects, particularly computer science, for the benefit of developing countries.
