    <p>The purpose of this symposium is to provide the Pakistani Institutions 
      of Higher Education in Mathematics and allied areas, an opportunity to learn 
      the successful techniques for running a mathematics institution that already 
      has a Ph.D programs in place or is planning to have such programs in future. 
      Participants of the Symposium will have discussions with the world experts 
      and will learn from those who have successfully guided Ph.D programs in 
      different developed and developing nations. These experts will also discuss 
      the future mathematics areas of demand and the sources of funding inside 
      the country and abroad for today and tomorrow.<br>
      One of the topics discussed will be the different ways to strengthen your 
      mathematics departments today and what will bring a national and international 
      recognition to your department and to your university tomorrow. The symposium 
      will be beneficial to those individuals as well who are presently supervising 
      Ph.D scholars and for those who wish to be Ph.D supervisors. Probably this 
      is one of the best times in history for Pakistani mathematical community. 
      Therefore, we must avail this opportunity to upgrade our higher education 
      in mathematics up to the world&#8217;s highest standards.</p>
