Title: Profinite Structures
Speaker: Angel-Server Popescu
Abstract: In this talk I consider some fundamental notions from graph
theory like trees, anti-trees, paths, an ultrametric distance between
paths and I apply all of these to the construction of the p-adic
number fields, to an unusual study of the abstract Galois group
and to a classification of the so called Cantor compact subsets in C and C_p.

Title: Groups acting on leveled-tress and some applications
Speaker: Angel-Server Popescu
Abstract: We continue to apply the idea of a storied-tree (as a profinite structure) to some topological structures and we introduce the action of a group on such profinite structures. We apply these to obtain information on the group itself. In the end we take good by ( Allah hafiz) from our Lahore's friends.
