Algebraic Geometry and its Applications

The school in tends to introduce graduate students, young researchers and faculty members of Pakistani universities to algebraic geometry and its applications in various areas of mathematics including computational algebra. In this workshop eminent mathematicians will explain some basic topics related to algebraic geometry and computational algebra and then discuss research level problems. The introductory lectures will be based on the two books: A first Course in Computational Algebraic Geometry by Gerhard Pfister and Algebraic Geometry in Applications by Wolfram Decker.
